I have joined Yonex 2003 as a freelance Europe badminton promotion executive, and hired as a Promotion Manager in 2012
Later promoted Managing Director / President of Yonex GmbH since 2019.
- What is your current job description?
- My role is managing entire company as a President, but I think it is important to have direct communication with each one of the departments for understanding the status of organization.
- What is the most rewarding aspect of your current job?
- I was playing badminton professionally and became German National Badminton Coach, This experience led me to my current career. So I enjoy my job as turning my passion into business. Of course I need to manage non-familiar areas such as badminton or other sports categories, but I love learning new things as well!
- What is your outlook for the future?
- Yonex is top badminton brand but not no1 in other sports categories, I would like to push Yonex to No1 in tennis category as well, and other categories in the future.
