Human Rights Policy
We promote efforts to respect human rights of all our stakeholders including the board members and employees, and have defined our human rights policy as a guideline to fulfill our responsibilities.
Each one of our board members and employees continue to carry out the responsibility of respecting human rights for all. We respect the diversity, personality and individuality of one another, and do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, language, age, gender, sexual orientation, the presence or absence of disability, or any other reasons. We do not engage in or tolerate harassment of any kind that undermines individual dignity, nor do we tolerate any form of child or forced labor.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all board members and employees of Yonex. We also encourage our supply chain to support this policy.
2. Compliance with the Applicable Laws and Regulations
We respect international standards for human rights, such as the International Covenants on Human Rights and International Labor Standards, and comply with the laws and regulations of the countries and regions we operate in.
3. Responsibility to Respect Human Rights
We meet our responsibilities to respect human rights by not violating the human rights of people who are under the impact of our business activities. We also take the right action when there is negative impact on human rights. If there is negative impact on human rights in our supply chain, we actively work to ensure respect for human rights.
4. Training and Education
We continuously train and educate all board members and employees on human rights.
5. Dialogue and Discussion
In our efforts to respect human rights, we engage in dialogue with the stakeholders concerned and have discussions in good faith.
