Yonex launches new, more eco-friendly shoe box and trimmings

TOKYO, Japan Yonex Co., Ltd. is proud to announce that it has developed new eco-friendly shoe boxes, instruction manuals, and tags for each product.

Yonex’s new shoe boxes*1 are made from 100% recycled materials. With a redesigned box structure, this reduces material weight by 20%*2. In addition, Yonex has further conserved paper use by eliminating dedicated instruction manuals, and instead integrated them into the shoe tags.

Yonex has also implemented other sustainability features into the new box design, including using smaller printed areas and single-color printing to reduce ink usage, and swapping the shoe tag fasteners from plastic materials to natural cotton.
